Ever since I discovered that the cemetery chapel in Stahnsdorf southwest of Berlin, already in Brandenburg, is a modeled after Norwegian-style stave churches I wanted to see it. On the way there we also passed the water lock in Kleinmachnow, built in 1901, and on the way back after a muddy detour through forest tracks, passing Checkpoint Bravo,
